My roommate is back from Seoul :)
I've gotten a few Koreans to agree to help me learn some useful Korean before I go. I met one of them today and made a schedule to meet twice a week.
Due to unforseen circumstances, I no longer have a place to live in Korea so I've asked my friends there to look around. I'll figure it out :)
On March 26, 2009, I left my life in America and moved to South Korea. I put my worldly possessions into two suitcases and a backpack and got on a plane. On December 8, 2012, I returned not to my hometown of Detroit, but to Silicon Valley, California, where I married an Indian engineer. In 2020, I divorced and moved to southern California. In this blog are my successes, failures, and observations of life in different cultures.

Barack Obama's Inauguration
Barack Obama is now officially the President of the United States. Now, when I get to Korea, I can be proud of my home country.
There was a lot of snow on the day of my apartment sale so there were not many customers. I made $30 though, so I can't complain too much. I'm hoping for a bigger turnout at the one in March. Whatever I don't sell then will go on craigslist.com and whatever doesn't sell there will be donated to goodwill.
My TESOL certification course starts this Saturday at 9:00am.
Goodbye Former President George W. Bush. Thanks for trying.
